A little bit about me …
I’m Ellen, a 20something artist pursuing a creative life. I’ve been to art school, Chelsea College of Arts if you’re wondering. Since university I’ve shared my work, ideas and exhibitions with the world through instagram and have created a wonderful community on there.
I’m based in Manchester, UK and I would love to do a Masters in Fine Art one day. Currently I work full time as an art technician whilst working on my artistic practice on the side.
Why here, why now?
I was really excited when I came across substack, it felt like the ‘old internet’, a blossoming space of creative blogs and personal adventure. I quickly started delving deeper into peoples blogs/substacks and enjoyed hearing peoples stories; where they’d come from and where they we heading.
This discovery came at a perfect time for me as I’ve been using Instagram for my work for more than a few years. I love sharing my art, my ideas, inspiration, experimentations and studio but thought this might be a new space where I can share my processes in a more rounded and in depth way.
I’m really happy to welcome you here, lets share our magic.
